Ingredients:
• 1/4 or 1/2 watermelon (4 lbs)
• 1 lime, juiced
• 1/2 tspn essence of "Noyau" (Haiti)
• 1 slice of lemon
• 1 tbsp of white sugar or more to taste
(optional)
• 1/2 tspn of rum (optional).
• 1 pinch of salt
• 6 ice cubes
Instructions:
1. From a 1/4 or 1/2 of a seedless watermelon (approximately 4 lbs), scoop chunks of the flesh and put into blender. Discard the rind. If the watermelon has seeds, discard the seeds as well.
2. Blend watermelon flesh until pulverized.
3. Add lime juice, "Noyau" essence, sugar, pinch of salt into blender.
4. Strain juice in another recipient that would give around 3 to 4 cups of watermelon juice.
5. Add ice cubes, and rum flavor if desired
6. Serve chilled immediately
